Gel Audio™ is a patented loudspeaker technology. When the Gel Audio™ driver is placed against a material that surface becomes the loudspeaker. The Gel Audio™ driver produces high quality sound when placed against a wide range of materials , glass, plastic, metal, wood, composites and fibrous materials. This does away with the requirement for grilles and cut-outs for loudspeakers which allows improved aesthetics and they can be used in adverse conditions. The Gel Audio™ driver is placed in permanent contact with a panel, without being bonded to it. All Gel Audio™ drivers produce a superior low frequency response (bass) than conventional loudspeakers of a similar size.
